"i come to you"

I come to you and you do not resent

a glory, a magnificence, a beauty, My friend

a relationship once loved but loved at a distance

but as a longing to draw near

you spoke to me and said "Come here"

closer and closer

i'm drawn to the magnificence of your grace

A yearn to set my eyes to the sight of your face

and as the shepherd holds his sheep close to his heart

you hold me

the glory of your presence consuming overflowing this vessel to be

every flaw, every hardship, every sorrow, every strife;

all relinquished by the power of your radiant light

Tears wiped away, fears kissed(away) by your grace

and now sprouted new the bloom of diligence, and might, 

a ripened prudence to lead in your life, your purpose, your fight

an Honor beyond all chivalry and loyalty 

a crown, eternal garland of divinity 

A life now set apart as Christ
