"Fragile Heart"

A heart offered, a heart runned down.

filled with regret, defeat, always wearing a frown

A fragile piece of life, given away in hopes 

to be cherished and loved all of it's days

but the mistake in this, 

is that if fallen into the wrong hands

could result in devastating proportions 

and what once was fragile but whole

will now be broken trampled broken on the floor

so what is left to do but to scrape up what is left

A beautiful crystal like vessel

reflecting what you so strongly regret

little pieces of glass so finely splintered that it's hard to grasp

As you gather what is left and can still be held on to mend

Missing parts despair what is on-hand 

and a discouraged, "There is no HOPE" spirit

rises up to triumph your already weakened fate

You take what is left and give it

to the one who is close to the shattered heart

His name Jesus Christ in which

by his very breathe

takes what left overs you have brought

fills in those empty spots

with the love shown through his cross

and rebuilds that crystal like heart intended for him from the start

but by life's deceitful grasp 

was robbed of what was intended to last

For eternity

but by his Grace and Mercy is given another chance
